Roy Aguilar is a Texas-based professional photographer documenting the relationships between architectural spaces and human experiences. Drawing from his background in Architecture, his work’s meticulous attention to detail, light, and depth earnestly convey emotions and explore human connections to built environments. Roy’s creative vision and global perspective has led firms and designers alike to critical acclaim and attention from highly recognized publications. Prior to Architectural Photography, Roy enlisted into the United States Air Force, providing emergency critical care transport all over the world. A war-time and decorated member of the Air Force, he was Honorably Discharged and attended the Graduate School at The University of Texas to study architecture.
In their spare time, Roy and his wife love to travel and explore the world, experiencing and embracing many different cultures. When they are not abroad, you can find Roy and his wife enjoying the scenic wilderness by a campfire with their 15 year old pup.
